Job summary

DX is seeking a Class 1 driver for a dayshift role, delivering on a UK network to customers and central hubs. You will need to manage routes to meet time-critical deliveries and comply with all legal driving requirements.

The role requires an HGV 1/C+E licence with a clean record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR) and a valid DCPC card. Competitive pay, holiday entitlement and strong progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving vehicles safely and legally.
• Ability to manage on-road routes and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Must comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to and from customers' premises and central hubs.
• Manage on-road routes to meet time-sensitive delivery windows.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Divert routes as needed to account for signs, traffic, or other conditions.
