Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers in Port Sunlight to join our client who is a global leader in consumer goods. You will drive planned trunking routes, complete daily checks, and ensure loads are secure and compliant.

We require a UK Class 1 licence, DCPC, digital tachograph card, and a professional attitude with strong communication skills. Various shifts available including full-time, part-time and 4 on 4 off with advance rotas.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• A valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card
• Up to 6 licence points accepted (no DD, DR, CD, TT or IN endorsements)
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• A professional attitude with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned trunking routes
• Complete daily vehicle checks and associated paperwork; ensure loads are safe, secure and compliant before departure
• Carry out clean trunking work between distribution centres
• Represent our client professionally at all times
