Job summary

Manpower is hiring a Class 1 HGV driver for trunking work in Normanton (WF6). The role offers a steady Monday to Friday schedule with start times from 13:00, modern vehicles, and trunking with trailer drops/swaps.

ADR is preferred but not essential, and FORS Gold standard vehicles ensure safety and quality in daily operations. Applicants should hold a valid LGV C+E licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph card, with up to six points allowed.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI tacho card.
• Ideally 12 months experience driving Class 1 HGVs.
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Completing drop and swap trailer runs between key UK locations: Normanton, Ferrybridge, Burton, Bradford, and back.
• Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant.
• Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles to FORS Gold standards.
