Job summary

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our customer based at Maidstone, Panattoni Park area.

You will be a frontline representative of the company, responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of secure shipments to and from Service Centres and Hub facilities. We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team with consistent work and some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and secure shipments.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and operating a Class 1 to deliver and collect secure shipments
• Ensuring the security of shipments and compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Trunking routes between Maidstone (MSE), Slough (SDC), Park Royal (LNW) and London Heathrow (LHR AVI)
• Night shifts with a structured schedule
• Includes a planned sleep-out period during each shift
• Return to base at Maidstone upon completion of the route
• Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata
• Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Class 1 Station-Based Driver on behalf of one of our customers based at Maidstone, Panattoni Park area.

You will be a frontline representative of the company, responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of secure shipments to and from Service Centres and Hub facilities. The post holder is directly responsible for enhancing the customer experience at every stage through a conscientious and dedicated approach to tasks.

Shift Pattern (Night Trunk with Sleepout):

Monday to Thursday: 6 PM to 7 AM (sleepout from 00:00 to 04:00)

Friday: 6 PM to 8 AM (sleepout from 00:00 to 04:00)

Please note that this role involves driving between Maidstone, Slough (SDC), Park Royal (LNW) and London Heathrow (LHR AVI), including a scheduled sleep-out period

Hourly Rate: £19.63 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Overtime is paid after 45 hours at time and a half

Job responsibilities:
