Job summary

Manpower UK is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver (C+E) to join a major confectionery distributor in the York area. The role is ad hoc with shifts across days, nights and weekends, and may include loading, unloading and some shunting. Successful candidates typically have 12 months+ Class 1 experience and up to 3 points on their licence.

A short on-site assessment and three days of training follow the induction. Weekly PAYE pay, 28 days holiday and a company pension are provided.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ Class 1 experience
• No more than 3 points on licence
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and nights away
• Must be flexible to cover ad hoc shifts and holidays

Manpower are looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionery distributors in the UK, based in the York area The ideal candidate must be flexible and be able to work various shifts days, nights, nights away, shunting. There will be weekend work also.Working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week. - This is ad hoc requirement to cover extra work load, holidays and sickness so we cant guarantee regular hoursWe are looking for driver that can work any required shifts (days, nights, trunking, shunting) and be fully flexible.Pay rates

Day Drive £21.17Night Drive £22.00Shunting £23.03Meal Allowance up tp £10Min of 6 hours paid per shift.

On average 8 to 12 hours shifts There are various aspects of the role, you will be expected to drive load and unload if needs be and also there will be some shunting work involved.This vacancy is on a temporary but long term ongoing basisTo be considered for this role you must have 12 month + Class 1 experience and have no more than 3 points on your licence - no disqualification's will be accepted, the successful candidate will be put forward for a 3 hour assessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training.
