Job summary

TRCGroup in Sheffield is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on an ongoing basis. Roles include afters/nights shifts across Monday to Sunday, with pay rates varying by day and type of shift.

The job involves bringing trailers from customers to hubs and back to the depot, with on-site induction for the first shift. Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 license with C+E, have at least 12 months of relevant driving experience, and possess valid DCPC and Tachograph

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• Minimum 12 months proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Flexible to work across Monday–Sunday with night starts (12:00–21:00) and night-rate pay.
• Ability to travel to local site for tacho download before being put forward.
• Understanding of the Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
• Travel to local sites for a one-off tacho card download prior to the position.

• Saturday - £23.52/ph PAYE
• Overtime (anything over 8 hours) Monday to Saturday - £25.25/ph PAYE
• Sunday - £26.25/ph PAYE- Flat rate
• Bank Holidays - £34.25
