Job description

At Blue Arrow, we are seeking reliable and proficient HGV Class 1 Drivers to deliver to Midlands Hubs for our prestigious client.

The work typically involves straight trunk runs with occasional collections en route to the Hubs.

Pay Rates

Monday - Friday: £17.20 per hour and £23.44 per hour overtime after 8 hours
Saturday: £21.89 per hour and £23.44 per hour overtime after 8 hours
Sunday: £24.44 per hour all hours

Start times vary from 13:45 to 19:30. Flexibility to work between 2 and 6 shifts per week, depending on client volume, as well as flexibility in start times, would be advantageous.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete pre-departure vehicle checks
• Transport goods between planned sites and drops
• Complete paperwork and ensure compliance
• Adhere to tachograph and working time regulations

Qualifications

To process your application, you must possess:

• HGV Class 1 entitlement
• CPC
• Digi tachograph card
• At least 1 year of driving experience

Additionally, you should demonstrate on your tachograph that you have been driving regularly within the last 12 months. We cannot accept more than 6 penalty points or licenses with DR/DG/CD/DD/BA endorsements.
