Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland - Cat C (Class 2) Driver Role

Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland is seeking a Cat C (Class 2) driver for a client in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This position is on a temp-to-perm basis for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivering and collecting plant and materials, using beavertail, tipper, or vans/pickups.
2. Maintaining and cleaning your vehicle.
3. Loading and unloading plant and materials.
4. General yard assistance.

You will secure a full-time position within a friendly, hardworking team.

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience with plant loading and strapping.
• Experience with counterbalance forklift.

Role Requirements:

• Category C/Class 2 driving entitlement.
• Valid CPC Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Licence.

Pay and Benefits:

Starting from £13.87 per hour (PAYE). Overtime rates apply after 8 hours: time and a half, double time after 12 hours. Saturday mornings are paid at time and a half; Saturday afternoons and Sundays are double time.
