Job summary

Kenect Recruitment is recruiting for HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers in the Washington and Newcastle areas. Various work including general haulage with curtainsided or tail-lift vehicles.

Shifts include day runs starting from 07:00, night trunks from 18:00, with rates from £16–£24 per hour depending on shift. Applicants must have a Class 1 licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card, and a solid 6-month work history.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• 6 months of checkable work history.
• No major points or endorsements on your licence.
• Good time keeping and work ethic essential.
• Flexible and reliable for varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1/2 for general haulage operations.
• Operate curtainsided or tail-lift vehicles where required.
• Adhere to scheduled start times and routes.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph and CPC regulations.

Kenect Recruitment Leeds are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers on behalf of one of our clients in Washington and Newcastle areas.

Various work available - General Haulage, curtainsided vehicles or tail lift.

• Day runs from £16.00


• Trampers from £16.00


• Night trunks from £18.00


• Days from 0700 starts


• Nights from 1800 - 2300 starts

Requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
