Job summary

GXO is seeking a Class 1 Driver in Warrington to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 07:00, enjoying a competitive annual salary and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries, safe vehicle operation, accurate documentation, and use of lift decks as needed. A valid UK licence C+E, CPC, and tachograph card are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries; typical 3–7 drops per day.
• Operate the vehicle safely and legally; ensure loading is correct before leaving site.
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with policy.
• Operate automated lift decks as required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Multi drop deliveries at average of 3- 7 drops per day
• Operating the vehicle in safe and legal manner, guaranteeing it has been loaded correctly prior to leaving site(No Handball Required)
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policy
• Operating automated lift decks as may be required on a day-to-day basis

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
