Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers for afternoon, night and trunking work out of Dudley Port, with additional work from Wolverhampton. The role offers night rates from £20.34, £26.35 on Saturdays, and £29.41 on Sundays, with overtime paid after 8 hours.

Duties include 1–4 drops per day and national deliveries in a 7-day shift pattern. Candidates must hold an in-date UK Class 1 licence, tachograph card and CPC, have no more than 6 points, and at least 6 months driving experience.

Qualifications

• UK in-date Class 1 (C+E) licence and in-date tachograph
• In-date CPC card and no more than 6 points on licence
• Minimum 6 months driving experience and willing to provide work history

Responsibilities

• 1–4 drops per day.
• Trunking work with no handball.
• National deliveries expected.
• Shifts run 7 days a week with start times 13:00–22:00

Location: Dudley Port

Pay rate:

• Monday to Friday nights £20.34 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Saturday nights £26.35 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Sunday nights £29.41 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• OT paid after 8hrs £28.29 inc holiday

Shifts:

• Shifts available 7 days a week
• Start times 13:00-22:00

About the job:

• 1 - 4 drops per day.

• Trunking work.
• National deliveries are expected.

Requirements

• In date, UK , class 1 (C+E) licence, in date tacho and in date cpc card
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DD/DR/IN/MS/TT/CU please)
• 6 months experience as a minimum
• Be able and willing to provide work history and references
