Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking dedicated HGV 1 drivers for ongoing roles at London Gateway Port in Stanford-Le-Hope. With both temporary and temp-to-perm positions available, candidates will perform essential shunting and tug work and must have a valid HGV 1 license, CPC, and Tacograph. Job description

TLP Recruitment is currently searching for dedicated HGV 1 drivers to join our growing team based at the London Gateway Port in Stanford-Le-Hope.

This will be part of an ongoing contract with a leading company based at the port, with both shunting and tug work available.

Our client is searching for both temporary and temp to perm drivers to cover a variety of shift patterns, including weekends and nights on an ongoing basis to help with their growing demand.

A full HGV 1 license entitlement, CPC and Tacograph will be required for this role.

Pay Rates

• Day shifts - £15.46 ph
• Night shifts - £17.05 ph
• ADR Bonus - £20 per shift
  
  

Shift Times

days- 0500-1600

nights- 1800-0500

This role will be a mixture of container work on the port + trunking work, there will be no multidrop work involved in this position, however, shunting may sometimes be needed.

We are unable to take newly qualified drivers, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a driving role will be necessary to progress with your application.
