Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is seeking reliable Class 1 HGV drivers for regular local and regional deliveries in the United Kingdom. This temp ongoing role offers a potential path to permanent employment for the right candidate, with steady work and start times from early morning for day shifts and evenings for night shifts.

You will perform vehicle checks, complete documentation, and provide a professional service to customers while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card must be held.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and routes.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 HGV safely and responsibly.
• Complete local and/or regional deliveries.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork and required documentation.
• Provide a professional service to customers.
• Follow all road, transport and company regulations.

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour

Job Type: Temp ongoing, opportunity to go perm for the right candidate

Start Times: 6:00 onwards start for day shit, 18:00 onwards start for night shifts

Working 6 days a week, Mon-Sat or Mon-Fri&Sun

The Role

We are currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our clients team.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 HGV safely and responsibly
• Completing local and/or regional deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing delivery paperwork and required documentation
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Following all relevant road, transport and company regulations

Requirements
