Pertemps Southampton is seeking a Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for daytime days on the Isle of Wight, starting in Sandown. Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver – Isle of Wight

Pay rate: £15 per hour, with a guaranteed day rate

Contract: Temporary agency work

Working hours: Daytime shifts, Monday to Friday during the main assignment

Duration: Approximately four weeks, with potential for additional ad hoc work

Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to undertake delivery work for our client, starting from Sandown on the Isle of Wight. This role involves collecting a load in the morning in Sandown, travelling by ferry to the mainland to complete a delivert directly to the client, and returning to the island. The position is suited to drivers seeking daytime work without the need for overnight stays away from home. The main assignment is expected to run for approximately four weeks from the begining of November, with work scheduled five days per week. Additional shifts may be available before and after this period, depending on operational requirements. This varies massivley Month by Month.

Daytime working hours, with no overnight stays required. Further work may be available on a flexible, ad hoc basis before and after the main assignment. Shift availability may vary from week to week.
