Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton & Winchester is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV drivers for general haulage and palletised deliveries across the South Coast. Flexible ad hoc, regular, or ongoing work available with day and night shifts.

Expect support from a dedicated team, on-site parking, and access to CPC/licence upgrading through Driver Hire Training. A £250 sign-up bonus is offered after your first 10 shifts along with weekly PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 experience.
• Curtainsider and general haulage experience.
• Load securing/strapping experience.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 curtainsider deliveries and collections.
• Deliveries of palletised goods across the South Coast.
• Night trunking and trailer swaps.
• Vehicle checks and completion of paperwork.

• Monday-Friday work on a AD HOC basis
• Average 10-12 hour shifts
• Class 1 curtainsider deliveries and collections
• Deliveries of palletised goods across the South Coast

What you'll need:
