Job summary

Major Logistics are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers based in the Rotherham S63 area. The role involves driving Class 1 vehicles for a distribution company delivering to building sites, RDCs and stores with 1–5 drops per day and palletised freight with FLT offload.

Typical start times are 05:00–06:00 with 8–12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. PAYE pay rate is £16.50 per hour plus holiday accrual.

Qualifications

• Must have current Class 1 (CE) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• At least 6 month experience driving Class 1 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 vehicles.
• 1-5 drops per day, a mixture of delivering and collecting.
• Mainly palletised deliveries with FLT Offload.

Major Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to work for a well established distribution company, based in the Rotherham S63 area.

Our client is a leading supplier of Insulation, construction products and building materials and delivers to a mixture of building sites, RDC's and stores and looking for experienced Class 1 / C+E Drivers for Monday to Friday shifts,

General start times are 05:00-06:00 and generally 8-12 hours shifts

PAYE Pay Rate

£16.50 per hour (PAYE) Plus Holiday Accrual

Duties

• Driving Class 1 vehicles
• 1-5 drops per days, a mixture of both delivering and collecting
• Mainly palletised deliveries with FLT Offload

Hours

Working between Monday to Friday

Start times between 0500-0600, on average 8-12 hours per day

Requirements

• Must have current Class 1 (CE) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• At least 6 month experience driving Class 1 vehicles
