Job summary

Extra Recruitment is actively seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a busy parcel delivery operation in the UK. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with day and night options and ongoing work throughout the year.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class 1 licence, at least 1 year of trunking experience, and no more than 6 penalty points. Trunking between depots and deliveries by box trailers are core responsibilities.

Class 1 Driver – Trunking / Parcel Deliveries

Monday to Friday | Day & Night Shifts Available

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a busy parcel delivery operation.

The Role:

• Trunking work for a parcel delivery company.
• Driving modern vehicles with box trailers.
• Completing approximately 1–3 drops per shift.
• Mainly trunking between depots.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Ongoing work available throughout the year.

Shift Options & Pay:

• Day Shifts:
  • Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am.
  • £17.50 per hour.
• Night Shifts:
  • Start times between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
  • £18.50 per hour.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience with box trailers preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Comfortable with trunking work.
