Job summary

Extra Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for trunking and parcel deliveries. The role offers Monday to Friday work with day or night shifts, consistent ongoing hours and potential temp-to-perm opportunity.

You will operate modern box trailers, complete roughly 1-3 drops per shift and trunk between depots. A valid Class 1 licence, at least 1 year of experience, and clean licence with few penalty points are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience with trunking/box trailers preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a busy parcel delivery operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with a well-established and busy company. There is no seasonal slowdown, making this a great long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Trunking work for a parcel delivery company.
• Driving modern vehicles with box trailers.
• Completing approximately 1-3 drops per shift.
• Mainly trunking between depots.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Ongoing work available throughout the year.

Shift Options & Pay:

Day Shifts:

• Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am.
• £17.50 per hour.

Night Shifts:

• Start times between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
• £18.50 per hour.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience with box trailers preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Comfortable with trunking work.
