Manpower UK is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join operations in Newport. This contract role offers day rate £16.45 and night rate £18.48, with ongoing long-term bookings.

You will operate C+E vehicles across UK locations, delivering goods on scheduled routes while maintaining safety and accurate records. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, tachograph/compliance, and effective communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles in logistics/freight.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and transportation regulations.
• Excellent driving skills with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Good organisational skills and time management.
• Strong communication and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
