Job summary

ManpowerGroup Bristol is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver (C+E) to join a well-established general haulage operation in Bristol. You will drive a curtainsider, deliver across the UK, and uphold safety, professionalism and customer service.

Shift patterns include day starts at 6:00 with a 4 on / 4 off rota, and night starts at 18:00 with Sunday to Thursday shifts. Valid licence, CPC and Tachograph card required; max 6 points. PAYE rate £18.50-£24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN).
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide general haulage deliveries across the UK.
• Transporting palletised and caged goods.
• Carrying out 1–4 drops per shift.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork.

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established general haulage operation based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking for ongoing work, regular shifts, and excellent earning potential.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the UK. You'll be driving a curtainsider trailer, completing general haulage deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Shift Patterns

• Day Shifts: 6:00am starts, working a 4 on / 4 off rota.


• Night Shifts: 6:00pm starts, working Sunday to Thursday.

Duties

• Nationwide general haulage deliveries


• Transporting palletised and caged goods


• Completing approximately 1-4 drops per shift


• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks


• Completing delivery paperwork accurately


• Complying with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and all road transport regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence


• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card


• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)


• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
