Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking HGV Class 1 (LGV CE) drivers for Knottingley (WF11). Flexible options include full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc work to fit your lifestyle. Roles involve nationwide deliveries to RDCs with trunking work and no handball, supporting a modern fleet and well-organised operations.

Shifts start 16:00–00:00 with afternoon, night, and weekend options. Applicants must have a valid Class 1 licence, in-date CPC, up-to-date tachograph card, and be able to pass a driving

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Must be able to work weekend shifts
• In-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Newer drivers welcome - must be able to pass a driving assessment
• Double decker experience

The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV CE) Drivers for a well-established client based in Knottingley. We have flexible opportunities available, including full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc work to suit your lifestyle.

The Role

• Nationwide deliveries to RDCs (Regional Distribution Centres)
• No handball required - trunking work
• Modern fleet and well-organised operations
• Shift start times between 16:00 - 00:00
• Afternoon, night, and weekend shifts available

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Must be able to work weekend shifts
• In-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Newer drivers welcome - must be able to pass a driving assessment (includes reversing and manoeuvring)
• Double decker experience

Pay Rates (Including Holiday Pay Accrual)

• Nights: £19.66 per hour (£29.49 after 8 hours)
• Saturdays: £19.19 per hour
• Sundays & Bank Holidays: £23.23 per hour
