Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Livingston is seeking Class 1 drivers to keep food deliveries moving daily. Duties include trunk runs, multi-drop deliveries, and safe handling of loads with handheld devices. You will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, and drive safely to meet schedule requirements.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, plus comfort with physical work and independent on-road duties. Training and country-specific safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Enjoy being out on the road and working independently.
• Are comfortable with physical work, including moving roll cages.
• Are focused on safety and doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fresh, frozen, and chilled food.
• Driving a class 1 vehicle to complete trunk runs to distribution centres.
• Driving a class 2 vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries using roll cages at convenience locations.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring loads are safe and secure.
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld systems where required.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with regulations, health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code.

Pay Rate: £38,875

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday. Starts between 04:00 and 06:00

Location: Livingston, EH54 8AS

We're looking for Class 1 Drivers to play a key role in keeping food deliveries moving and on track, every day.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fresh, frozen, and chilled food
• Driving a class 1 vehicle to complete trunk runs to distribution centres
• Driving a class 2 vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries using roll cages at convenience locations
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring loads are safe and secure
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld systems where required
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with regulations, health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
