Job summary

Barker Ross Group is seeking Class 1 drivers for regular, ongoing work with weekly shift patterns and plenty of hours available. Various start times and a 4-on/4-off pattern provide flexibility for drivers across the United Kingdom.

Typical duties include curtain-sided deliveries to supermarket distribution centres and returning with loads. A paid driving assessment is provided before shifts; CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with PPT use possible when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable with curtain-sided trailer work
• Able to operate a PPT when required
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Delivering to supermarket distribution centres
• Collections and return loads
• Predominantly general haulage
• Typically completing multiple deliveries before returning to site
• Some deliveries where use of a PPT may be required

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday or 4-on/4-off
• Various start times available
• Drivers must be flexible within a 2-hour start time window
• Afternoon starts offer the most regular work

Weekly schedules providedPay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday to Friday - £19.00 per hour
• Saturday - £20.00 per hour
• Sunday - £21.00 per hour
