Job summary

Pollock Scotrans Ltd. is seeking motivated HGV drivers to join our transport team at Eurocentral. You’ll operate curtain‑sided trailers delivering palletised goods with a focus on safety and on‑time performance.

Expect a 4 on/4 off rota with day shifts from 05:00–07:00 and night shifts from 17:00–19:00, plus a generous starting rate of £17.42 per hour and night premium of £2.75. Benefits include ongoing DCPC training, attendance allowance for CPC, and a range of company perks aimed at staff

• UK Class 1 (CE) licence holder with valid DCPC and tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with Confidence: operate a curtain‑sided trailer to deliver palletised goods safely and efficiently.
• Load Security: ensure all goods are safely strapped and secured to prevent movement or damage.
• Safety First: complete daily vehicle checks using company mobile to keep vehicles compliant and road ready.
• Stay Connected: maintain clear communication with the transport team to meet customer expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: participate in regular training to stay up to date with industry standards, safety and compliance.

Are you passionate about delivering excellence on the road? We're looking for dedicated and skilled HGV drivers to join our team. As a key member of our transport operation, you will ensure goods are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Fantastic Earning Potential

Start your shift with a solid £17.42 per hour and increase your earnings with a £2.75 per hour night premium for all hours worked between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs

Driver Friendly Shift Options

Enjoy a predictable 4 on / 4 off rota, giving you stability and a healthy work life balance.

Day shifts start between 05:00hrs - 07:00hrs, while night shifts begin between 17:00hrs - 19:00hrs, offering great work life balance.

What You'll Do

Routes That You'll Enjoy Behind The Wheel

• Dayshift Deliveries: Collecting loads from our customer site in East Kilbride and delivering to local RDCs and wholesalers.
• Nightshift Deliveries: Carry out shunting at our customer site in East Kilbride as well as delivering loads in to local RDCs.
• Flexibility When It Matters: As part of delivering for our customers, routes may be adjusted at short notice to meet contract and operational requirements.
