Job summary

Aspion is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy logistics operation in Ellesmere Port. You will work on container and/or bulk tipper trailers, delivering and collecting goods with ongoing temporary work and Monday-Friday day shifts.

You’ll need a clean HGV 1 licence, CPC/DQC, Tachograph Card, and experience with bulk tipping or containers, plus solid knowledge of UK roads and hours regulations. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous bulk tipping and/or container driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and drivers' hours regulations.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• A reliable, safety-conscious approach.
• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Transporting commodities using container and/or bulk tipper trailers.
• Working closely with the transport planning team.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing delivery paperwork.
• Following safe loading, unloading and site procedures.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.

The Job
