Job summary

HireGiant Ltd in Foston, Derbyshire, is hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver for full-time, ongoing work. The role includes yard trailer swaps, curtain-side operations, accurate paperwork, and maintaining high service standards.

Shifts run 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00 on a 4-on/4-off pattern. Day rates £16/hr, nights £17/hr, with weekend uplifts. Weekly pay, PAYE. Valid Class 1 (C+E), CPC and tachograph card required; curtain-side experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Class 1 Driver Based: Foston DE65 | Up to £22.75 Per hour

Were currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a well-established logistics company based in Foston, Derbyshire. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.

As a Class 1 Driv er, youll be responsible for:

• Completing trailer swaps around the yard
• Operating curtain-side trailers , depending on the load
• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
• Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
• High standard of safe system of work

Hours & Pay:

• Start Times: shifts 06:00 till 18:00 & 18:00 till 06:00
• Days: 4 ON /4 OFF
• Shift Length: 12 hours per day
• Pay Rate: £16.00 Days per hour Mon - Fri (PAYE) / + Premium for weekends
• Pay Rate: £17.00 Nights per hour Mon to Fri (PAYE) / + Premium for weekends
• Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
