Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Class 1 Day Driver for a permanent, full-time role. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of products while upholding high standards of customer service, compliance and vehicle safety.

The role involves daily vehicle checks, accurate paperwork, load security and strong communication with the transport team to represent DHL professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Experienced Class 1 drivers with commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver products in line with company, customer and legislative requirements.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, report defects and maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational standards.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork, PODs and other transport documentation.
• Secure loads correctly, perform product checks and report any shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and represent DHL professionally when interacting with customers.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, start times between 6am-8am or 9am-11am
