Extra Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for a Tuesday-Saturday afternoon shift with ongoing, long-term work. The role involves trunking with 1‑2 drops daily, operating a box trailer, and completing all safety checks and paperwork.

The position offers regular pay at £17.00 per hour, with a dependable schedule and a straightforward trunking assignment suitable for experienced drivers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Complete trunking work with 1-2 drops per day.
• Operate a box trailer.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure all loads and equipment are transported safely.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and records.
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Class 1 Driver looking for steady work, with no multi-drop handballing involved. You'll be operating a box trailer and completing trunking runs between locations.
