Job summary

Jobandtalent is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver in Cumbernauld for ongoing work with one of the UK's leading logistics companies. The role involves trunking and RDC deliveries across the UK, operating refrigerated units, and carrying out safety checks.

You will complete PODs and paperwork using handheld scanners while maintaining high customer service standards. You will need a full UK driving licence (Cat C+E), a valid digital tachograph card, and no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category C+E) required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD, IN, TT endorsements not accepted).
• Experience with RDC, trunking and store deliveries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK roads and distribution centres.

Responsibilities

• Perform trunking and RDC deliveries across the UK road network.
• Operate refrigerated units.
• Conduct pre- and post-vehicle safety checks.
• Complete PODs, delivery paperwork, and handheld scanning.
• Minimal interaction with the load during transit.
