Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles around Northampton. A mix of trunking, store deliveries, general haulage and container work offers varied days, nights, weekends, or ad hoc shifts with modern vehicles and consistent work.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months Class 1 experience, a valid DCPC and tachograph card, and a strong safety/customer service mindset. Immediate starts and regular pay are available.

Qualifikationen

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• At least 6 months commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres
• Store deliveries or RDC work (depending on the contract)
• General Haulage work
• Container work
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 6 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
