Rapier Employment Limited is recruiting Class 1 drivers for trunking and collection routes in Baginton, Coventry. Immediate start with a brand-new fleet and modern tech. You will handle inbound collections and trunking with load/unload support, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Expect increased rates after 12 weeks and at least 8 hours paid daily, with holiday pay and flexible schedules across full weeks or ad hoc shifts. Ongoing year-round work is available.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 3 months experience.
• Professional attitude, reliability and safety.
• Year-round ongoing work.

Aufgaben

• Inbound collection and outbound trunking, with load and unload support as required by the client.
• Undertaking trunking services between depots, ensuring the safe, secure, and timely transportation of parcels, including high-value goods.
• Collecting consignments from established, well-known customers, including full trailer loads and drop-and-swap operations.
• Completing thorough pre-use and post-use vehicle checks in line with company and legal requirements.
• Complying fully with all road traffic legislation, industry regulations, and company health and safety standards.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with transport, dispatch, and logistics teams to support efficient operations.
