Job Description

Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Coventry. The role is based on a Co-op site and will involve store deliveries, RDC’s, Warehouses and can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking.

Shifts and Pay

• Friday-Monday 04:00am.
• Thursday-Sunday 08:00am.
• Friday-Tuesday 19:00pm and 20:00pm.
• Friday-Tuesday 23:00pm and 23:30pm.
• Mon-Fri Days - £14.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.90 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
• Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)

Qualifications

• 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
