Job Description

Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Coventry. The role is based on a Co-op site in Coventry and will involve store deliveries, RDC’s, Warehouses and can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking.

Night shifts available:

• Friday-Sunday 02:00am.
• Saturday-Monday 17:00pm.
• Saturday-Tuesday 16:00pm.

Salary:

• Mon-Fri Days - £14.50 per hour
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.90 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour
• Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months HGV Class 1 experience.
• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
