Job summary

CTRG Limited is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver in Coventry. The role involves trunking between locations, assisting with curtain-side loading, and no handballing is required. Full driving assessment is mandatory, with AM and PM shifts and overtime after 9 hours.

Shifts are PM and offer weekly pay options with PAYE, and a modern fleet supported by 24/7 planning teams. Licesnse requirements include UK C+E and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence, with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph required.
• Understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete safety checks and report defects.
• Strong communicator with a flexible, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from A to B.
• Assisting FLT drivers with strapping and unstrapping the curtain around the product.
• No handballing required.
• Full Driving Assessment must be completed.
• AM and PM shifts available.
• Overtime (After 9 hours)

HGV Class 1 Driver

CTRG Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support trunking operations in the Coventry area.

Role Overview

• Job Type:Full-Time / Potential Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate
• Shifts:PM shifts
• PM - 18:00 (3 hour window)
• Rates:Up to £37.34 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

• Trunking from A to B.
