Job summary

Extra Recruitment in Solihull seeks an experienced Class 1 Driver for ongoing supermarket deliveries. You’ll operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled routes and ensure safe, efficient deliveries to stores and distribution centres.

This full-time role offers flexible shifts, PAYE pay of £19.00–£23.00 per hour with weekly pay, and a supportive transport team. A valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence (C+E) required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
• Able to pass a driving assessment if required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled supermarket delivery routes.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently to stores and distribution centres.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport office.
