Pertemps Leicester is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for Meridian Business Park, Leicester. You will join a well‑established national distribution operation offering regular ongoing work, temporary-to-permanent roles, and flexible shifts.

The role involves delivering to retail stores across the UK, with 1–3 deliveries per shift, vehicle checks, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Training is provided on-site and you will be supported as you work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation.
• Professional and reliable attitude required.

We're currently recruiting 10 experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established national distribution operation based at Meridian Business Park, Leicester.Whether you're looking for regular ongoing work, temporary-to-permanent opportunities or flexible casual shifts, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering products to retail stores across the UK.
• Typically completing 1-3 deliveries per shift.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing a leading logistics operation.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 01:00 - 05:00
• Finish times typically between 13:00 - 18:00, depending on your route

Pay Rates

• 22:00 - 06:00: £21.23 per hour
• 06:00 - 16:00: £17.69 per hour
• 16:00 - 22:00: £19.46 per hour

Training & Induction

• Onsite driving assessment
• 3 days classroom and practical training
• 2 days buddying with an experienced driver

This ensures you are fully prepared and confident before working independently.

Requirements
