Job description

GI Group is currently recruiting for multiple Class 1 Drivers for an internationally known delivery company. Check below to see if you meet the requirements and apply as soon as possible.

Shifts:

1. Afternoon & night shifts available
2. Start times at 1300-2100
3. Choose your own shift pattern
4. Full-time and Part-time options available
5. Weekend work only options available
6. Average shift length: 10-12 hours

Pay & Benefits:

1. Monday to Friday: £19.27/hour
2. Saturday: £24.53/hour
3. Sunday: £27.38/hour
4. Pay rates include holiday pay
5. Rates are PAYE; no Umbrella contracts

Main Duties:

1. Conduct vehicle checks
2. Perform clean and easy trunking work to depots
3. Secure loads
4. Deliver safely across the UK
5. Prioritize workload to meet deadlines

The Candidate:

1. Positive attitude and work ethic, eager to learn
2. Presentable appearance and attention to detail
3. No more than 6 penalty points
4. Valid, in-date Tachograph & CPC
5. No endorsements for DD, IN, DR, DN, TT
6. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
7. Good customer service skills
8. At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
9. 6-12 months experience considered depending on work history
