GXO Logistics in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a full-time permanent role. The position follows an any-5-days-from-7 pattern with shifts from 03:00 to 07:00, contracted to 45 hours per week.

Salary is £36,459.00 per annum with a driver bonus of up to £480 per month. Benefits include overtime pay, 33 days leave, a company pension, and access to GXO University and MyBenefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.

Responsabilités

• Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces and collect returns from stores per operational requirements.
• Handle palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe loading/unloading procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office and provide exemplary customer service.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently and ensure documents are completed accurately and on time.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days from 7’ pattern, with start time window of 03:00 to 07:00, contracted to 45 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces while collecting returns from stores in line with operational requirements
• Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by always being polite and courteous
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:
