ARR Craib Ltd. in Aberdeen is seeking a Class 1 Relief Driver to cover holidays and sickness as a permanent, full-time team member. You will operate a refrigerated tail-lift trailer for multidrop deliveries within Aberdeen and surrounding areas, ensuring loads are secured and safety checks are completed daily.

You will communicate with the transport team, attend ongoing training, and adapt to day, night, and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 CE Licence required, with active DCPC and Tachograph credentials.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Capable of working to deadlines and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate refrigerated tail lift trailer for multidrop deliveries around Aberdeen and Shire.
• Deliver milk cages and return empties, with tail-lift operation and manual handling.
• Load and secure goods to prevent movement and damage.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks on company phone and communicate with transport team.
• Attend training sessions to stay aligned with industry standards.
• Permanent full-time role covering holidays, sickness, and some day/night/weekend shifts.

Class 1 Relief Driver

Location: Aberdeen

Shift: Any 5 over 7, 05:00hrs start

About The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Use a refrigerated tail lift trailer to carry out multidrop store deliveries around Aberdeen and Shire. This includes delivering milk cages returning empties in the Aberdeen area, (involving tail‑lift operation and manual handling)
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use appropriate securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• This is a permanent full time position to cover holiday and sickness. Therefore, a flexible approach is required as the position will involve covering both day and night work, including weekends as and when required.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
