Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking a Class 2 Driver to deliver bakery products across Aberdeen city. You will operate curtain side trailers, perform daily safety checks, and ensure goods are loaded and secured properly.

Role requires UK Class 2 C Licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach. The position follows a 3-week rolling rota with early starts and opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery products to retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across Aberdeen city using a curtain side trailer.

• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

About The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Use a curtain side trailer to deliver bakery products to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across Aberdeen city. This will involve tail-lift use and manual handling.


• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.


• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.


• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.


• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.


• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
