ARR Craib Transport Ltd in Glasgow is seeking experienced HGV drivers (Class 1) to operate long-distance routes, including double-decker trailer movements from Queenslie to the Central Hub in Birmingham and back. You will load and secure cargo with straps and nets and perform daily safety checks using the company app.

This role offers Monday to Friday shifts starting at 05:00, with overtime and ongoing DCPC training.

• Double up with another driver due to long distance nature of the route.

• Double up with another driver due to the long distance nature of the route.
• Use a double decker trailer to trunk from Queenslie to the Central Hub in Birmingham and then return to Queenslie depot.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
