ARR Craib Transport Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our busy team. You will drive curtain side trailers, perform load securement, and keep customers informed on progress.

You must hold UK Class 2 C Licence with DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card. We offer weekend overtime rates, training, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Class 2 C Licence and DCPC/Digital Tachograph cards.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of UK routes and areas.
• Physically fit and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain side trailers for multi-drop pallet deliveries.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured to prevent damage.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and log via company app.
• Communicate progress to transport team to meet customer expectations.
• Attend regular training and stay updated on industry standards.

Job description

• Use curtain side trailers to make multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network to the Highland area.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

• Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
