Turners (Soham) Ltd is recruiting Container Drivers for our Birmingham depot. Shifts include Monday-Friday, with weekend and night options.

You will be part of a large, growing container division, focusing on professionalism and customer service while adhering to tachograph and working time rules. Requirements include a full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Tacho Card, 35 hours CPC, with container experience preferred and solid English.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport Company. We are looking to recruit Container Drivers to be based at our Birmingham depot.Shifts are mainly Monday-Friday pattern with Weekend shifts also available, we are also seeking Nightshift Drivers.As a professional driver working for Turners Container Division, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent customer service.Working for our container division you will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings, and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times. We have day, tramping and weekends available (Shift patterns vary from depot to depot). Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times. Occasional nights out maybe required for day drivers due to unforeseen circumstances.As a large and ever expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience. All we ask is you are willing and keen to learn, growing our driving crew with knowledgeable and competent members. We are always keen to take on experienced drivers and recognize the knowledge and strengths you can bring to the organisation.

Successful applicants MUST have the following:

• Full HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence (1 year Preferred)
• Driver CPC & Tacho Card
• 35 hours CPC
• Container experience (preferred)
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English(No test drives can take place without these documents and Minimum PPE of Safety Boots)
