Job summary

The Best Connection in Manchester is seeking an experienced Class 1 Container Driver (HGV Class 1 / C+E) for Trafford Park, Manchester. £16.00 per hour with early starts and regular hours.

Duties include safe collection and delivery of containers, driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle, securing loads, and completing daily collections and deliveries. Requirements include a valid Class 1/C+E licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and a minimum of 2 years’ commercial Class 1 experience; container

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Ideally at least 1 year's container driving experience
• Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence
• No major driving endorsements, including IN or DR codes
• Must be 25 years of age or over
• Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations
• Professional and reliable approach to work

Class 1 Container Driver - Trafford Park, Manchester

The Best Connection - Manchester are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Container Driver (HGV Class 1 / C+E Driver) for one of our clients based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for container driving work in Trafford Park, with competitive hourly pay, early morning starts and regular working hours.

Pay & Hours

• £16.00 per hour
• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
• Approximately 8-10 hour shifts
• Based in Trafford Park, Manchester

The Role

As a Class 1 Container Driver, your duties will include:

• Safe collection and delivery of containers
• Driving an HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle

Driver Requirements
