The Best Connection Eastbourne Branch is recruiting a professional HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Day Driver for Hastings. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across the South East, with daytime shifts and a Monday to Friday pattern.

You will complete daily vehicle checks, adhere to driving hours, and deliver a high level of customer service. Weekly pay and ongoing, consistent work with potential temp-to-perm opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 multi-drop experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and transport legislation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across designated routes.
• Safely transporting goods while ensuring loads remain secure.
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
• Planning routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
• Adhering to driver hours, working time regulations, and road safety requirements.
• Providing a professional service when interacting with customers.
