Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group seeks an experienced Class 1 driver for the Woodside Motorfreight division in Thorne, operating throughout Great Britain.

You will drive safely, present the vehicle to customers with a full handover, and manage delivery documents on tablets. Full training provided; shifts Monday–Friday with tramping and competitive pay including overtime and allowances.

Qualifications

• HGV Class C&E (Class 1) licence.
• Digital tachograph card and Driver CPC qualification.
• Minimum 1 year CE driving experience.
• Maintain a good standard of driving.
• Clean license preferable but up to 6 points acceptable.
• Right to work in the UK and knowledge of drivers hours/WTD.

• Presentation of vehicle to customer and full handover explanation.
• Delivery documents on electronic platforms using tablets or smartphones.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver & Car enthusiast to join our specialist Motorfreight division at Thorne operating throughout Great Britain.

Rate of pay

• Basic (50 hrs / week) £18.00
• Overtime 1 (Mon-Fri) £19.00
• Overtime 2 (Sat) £22.71
• Overtime 3 (Sun & PH) £22.71
• Night Away Allowance £28.00

• Able to demonstrate right to work in the UK.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience working within the automotive industry.

Full training on transporter equipment and all aspects of the role is provided on a one‑on‑one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
