Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth is seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for regular weekend work delivering chilled products to customers within a 60-mile radius. You will join a reputable agency supporting a client in Tamworth.

Role focuses on safe vehicle operation, timely deliveries, and compliance with hours regulations. Weekend and some weekday cover may be required, with starts typically between 06:00 and 15:00.

Qualifications

• 6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience required.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Flexible approach to working weekends and weekdays.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular weekend work with a reputable company.

The Role

As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chilled products to customers.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally


• Delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius


• Completing delivery routes efficiently


• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork


• Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Working Hours

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday


• Start times between 06:00 - 15:00


• Flexible approach required to support weekday cover when needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Minimum

6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence


• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card


• Valid Digital Tachograph Card


• Flexible approach to working weekends and weekdays


• Reliable and professional attitude
