Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 ADR drivers to join our Ellesmere Port depot on a Monday to Friday tramper operation. This role offers weekday work, competitive hourly pay and regular night-out allowances.

You will drive Class 1 CE vehicles, complete ADR transport, and ensure safety and compliance with drivers' hours and tachograph rules. Average shifts are around 10 hours with an opportunity for ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 CE HGV licence.
• ADR licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 experience.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (CE) vehicle on scheduled deliveries.
• Carry out ADR-compliant transport of goods.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Comply with UK drivers' hours, working time and tachograph regulations.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and professionalism.
• Follow all company, site and health & safety procedures.
