Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Night Class 1 ADR Driver in Neath for a temporary seasonal contract (6–8 months). The role pays £18.27 per hour with a £20 night bonus per shift and a 42.5-hour guaranteed week. Candidates must hold UK HGV Class 1 (C+E), ADR, Driver CPC and tachograph knowledge.

Responsibilities include ADR deliveries, route planning, pre/post-trip checks, load security, and maintaining accurate records, while upholding safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement, 6 months road driving.
• ADR qualification suitable for the goods you will transport.
• Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Up-to-date tachograph compliance and understanding of drivers' hours.
• Strong ADR safety practices and hazard awareness.
• Excellent route planning and time-management skills.
• Good communication for liaising with transport teams and customers.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks accurately and report issues.

• Complete ADR-compliant deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Plan and carry out routes to meet delivery schedules, maintaining accurate timing and records.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting defects or issues promptly.
• Ensure load security is compliant and appropriate for the goods being transported.
• Follow procedures for documentation, including delivery paperwork and ADR records.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and working time regulations.
• Report incidents, delays, or safety concerns immediately and follow escalation procedures.
