Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 1 ADR Night Driver to join our Wirral-based transport operation. You will deliver ADR goods, perform vehicle checks, and maintain delivery paperwork while complying with Driver Hours and regulations.

We offer a night shift premium, Sunday to Wednesday nights, a modern fleet, ongoing training, and a stable long-term position with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• ADR licence (packages at minimum).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery of ADR goods to customer locations.
• Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure deliveries comply with ADR regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) ADR Night Driver to join a growing and professional transport operation.

Position Details

• Role: Class 1 ADR Night Driver
• Shift Pattern: Sunday to Wednesday Nights
• Start Times: Typically between 18:00 and 21:00
• Location: Wirral

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery of ADR goods to customer locations.
• Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• ADR Licence (Packages as a minimum)
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• Strong safety and compliance awareness
